Welcome to the 2009 Camp Fair at Chestnut Hill Academy!

Beat the winter doldrums and get an early peek at summer by coming to Camp Fair, Chestnut Hill Academy’s annual event that brings together camps and summer programs for every interest and age from around the area, region and country.

This year’s event will be held on Saturday, January 31, from 11 am to 3 pm in CHA’s Woodward/Kingsley gymnasium complex located near the intersection of Willow Grove Avenue and Cherokee Street. See the 'links' section on the right side of this page for more information and directions.

Variety is the theme for this year’s fair with representation from a wide range of camp types (local day, overnight, travel and adventure) geared for kids of all ages. The camps offer programs in sports, nature, science, international travel, adventure, academics, fine arts and more. There will also be a number of camps with a “teen-only” focus.

Parents are encouraged to bring their teens and younger children to watch camp videos, meet one-on-one with camp directors and gather additional information on options for summer in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. You may also choose to visit the web site of any camp attending the fair by clicking the link on the right side of this page.

Between stops at the camp tables, families can enjoy the terrific activities available throughout the day: watch “magic” science happening right before your eyes (and taste the delicious results!), get up close and personal with exotic visitors from The Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education, or take a break at our cafĂ© offering delicious snacks and lunch. Admission and parking are free.
